A rhythm game for your ears: the band leader plays a beat, your kitten plays it back. Nail every hit for a Purrfect - miss one and the mug goes off the table.
The orange cat plays a beat. Your kitten plays it back.
Listen to the lead cat's bar, then tap the same rhythm on the next bar.
Tap the stage, or press Space. Two-paw levels: F (left paw) and J (right paw), or tap the left and right half.

The orange cat plays one bar on its snare. Watch the paw prints light up and count along with the hi-hat.
On the next bar it is your turn: tap the stage or press Space on the same beats. Two-paw levels split the kick (F) and the snare (J).
Rank B or better unlocks the next level. Calibrate your taps once, and keep a combo going to set the club on Fever.
Call and response is how drummers, percussion ensembles and music teachers have always taught rhythm: one player states a phrase, the other answers with the same one. It trains two skills at once - hearing a rhythm precisely and reproducing it in time.
Every hit is judged against the beat to a few hundredths of a second. A Purrfect lands within 50 ms of the target, a Good within 110 ms. Calibrating your taps first removes the delay your speakers or Bluetooth headphones add, so the judgement measures you, not your device.
The phrases come from real grooves: steady quarter and eighth notes, syncopated hits between the beats, and the kick-and-snare pattern of boom-bap hip-hop. When you can copy them by ear, try building your own beat in TuttiDAW.
Yes. It runs in your browser with no account and no download. Your progress and calibration are saved in this browser only.
Speakers and especially Bluetooth headphones play sound a little after the game sends it. Use Calibrate taps on the level screen: tap along with 12 clicks and every judgement is corrected for your device.
Space taps the drum. On two-paw levels, F (or D, or the left arrow) is the left paw and J (or K, or the right arrow) is the right paw. On a phone, tap the left or right half of the stage.
Copying short phrases by ear is a standard rhythm exercise for drummers, singers and music students. The game gives you instant feedback on how early or late each hit was.
